About Me

I came to the practice of psychotherapy through my own experience of healing and growth. Inspired by the results of my therapeutic journey, I have committed myself to empower and guide BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals on their path toward healing and wholeness.

I am a queer-identified, bi-lingual English/Spanish, and bi-cultural, first-generation Latinx/Chicana psychotherapist.

I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2014 from the California Institute of Integral Studies and specialize in working with individuals impacted by stress, trauma, and grief.

My approach to therapy is Integrative, which brings together trauma-informed care rooted in social justice. As an Integrative therapist, I recommend different tools and approaches tailored to a client’s specific needs. By using a client-centered approach, I incorporate the client’s entire experience to holistically heal mind, body, and spirit.

As a therapist, I am passionate about holding space for individuals struggling with the impact of oppressive and traumatic experiences. I believe in creating a nurturing relationship where emotional growth and healing can safely transpire.
