Since every person is different, it depends entirely on your treatment goals. Maybe you are looking for support on a specific issue and once it’s resolved you are ready to move on within a few months. Or perhaps you are interested in healing childhood wounds or unhealthy patterns of being and would like to engage in exploration through a long-term open-ended approach. Either way, we can determine what best fits your needs through a collaborative approach.
Once we determine if we are a good fit, I request that you commit to weekly sessions. Weekly sessions allow us to build a strong therapeutic relationship, which is essential to getting the results you aspire to attain.
EMDR therapy may require a different length of treatment and depends on whether you are working on a single-incident trauma or wanting to heal a more complex trauma history. We will determine this as part of our treatment plan when we meet.

I do. In an effort to make therapy services more accessible, I am an in-network provider with Alma and take Optum and Aetna insurance. For out-of-network provider fees, I can provide a monthly superbill that can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement.
Please contact your insurance company prior to starting therapy to confirm they will reimburse you for an out-of-network provider.
